Alan Walter Emery
Andrew Groves
Alan moved to the Isle of Wight with his family in 1946 to manage 750 acres at Yaverland Manor Farm, where he remained for 31 years. It was a predominantly a dairy farm, with sheep and plenty of arable land. Alan was responsible for mechanising the farm over the years, but upon retiring in 1985 went onto other work on the Island.
