Well you take them in and present them and they’d have a number put on them with some glue to make sure that was the animal that you presented.
It would be recorded by the Auctioneer and then people would come and bid on them.
It was an Auction and then the highest bidder, the Auctioneer would bang his gavel down and say, “Sold to Mr Jones” or whatever and that lot would be the property of the new owner and after the sale, you would go to the Office where they would give you the money that they’d sold your animal for minus the commission.
