Yeah, I did but never as seriously as Dianne did. Use to go along with her. Younger sister dragged along, you know? It was somewhere to go. It was the only place to go really.

I can remember going to the first Young Farmers’ Dinner and Dance.

I think we all … Dianne went. I must have only been about 12 or 13, it was so different to me (laughs).

I can always remember mum and dad dressing up. They used to dress up one or two occasions a year for the NFU Dinner Dance or the Ayrshire Society Dinner and Dance.
