We had a milk round at the time which they haven’t got, not now. Just the local people, just down the road from the farm, you know?

All bottled up into pints, bottled it ourselves.

Didn’t take long what we did and when you stood it for a time, you could actually see the cream …It wasn’t pasteurised or anything like that. It was just filtered when it arrived at the dairy for any specs of dirt.

There was a cotton wool, well thinner than cotton wool pad at the top of the churn. That was Channel Island milk, green lids on top HP & J Flux.
